Going under the radar for a while, turning my phone off and that sort of thing. Tired of people, drama, and all that.

Stay warm, eat soup, happy thanksgiving, happy christmas, happy new year lol

they make a five am? what???? yess!!!

So I have a life changing announcement.

I went to work at 6am today. Please do not confuse this with rolling out of bed at six in the morning...ohhh no honey, I was functioning as a human being at this hour. Something I hardly thought possible for anyone much less myself.

Let us pause and have a moment of silence for this monumental human achievement....

It is now five thirty (i like typing out times, deal) in the evening and I am ready for bed. I mean the sun is down, I should be too. Alas there are far too many testosterone fueled football games on tv for me to even think of such blasphemy as that. Not to mention we're going to my parents house where cable/satellite tv exists. Whaaaat? YESSSSS!!

If you don't watch Craig Ferguson not only should you drop everything you're doing right now and youtube him, you would also find yourself understanding the reference "whaaat?? YESSS!!" Which is playing through my head like a broken record.

Oh the things people come into Target looking for.

My favorite from today was extra wide panty liners...not to be confused with the extra long ones.
Of course they don't exist or anything, but someone told the person (I mean I bet you cant guess the gender) we had them...and because I'm so freaking loopy right now I'm absolutely blogging about panty liners....be jealous of teh awesome.

I would like my life back please...

Between work, school, family events, house cleaning, registering for Spring classes, and continuing to tell myself that Accounting really is the major for me, I have had zero time to do anything. Oh and add a couple of quarter life crisis meltdowns over three tests in one week (doesn't sound that awful right? one of them is finite...and I didn't mean to rhyme) and you've pretty much summed up my life these past few weeks.

Don't get me wrong, I love being busy. However I love relaxing and would very much like to survive this week...after this its all downhill. I've still got another round of tests after this one, and then finals...but still...this is definitely the hard part.

I can't wait for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year...It'll be so nice to have a break for a bit.

happy halloween!

I think its properly called "All Hallows Eve" but I didn't want to sound pretentious in my title.

Work has inhaled what was left of my life and I hardly have time to sleep.
In fact when I went grocery shopping last night after getting off I almost walked up to a woman who looked confused and asked her if I could help her find something. Unfortunately I'm not kidding. It was one of the most awkward moments of my life. I had to keep telling myself "no, you don't work here, you don't care if these people are lost confused or otherwise."

I've been given the option to work 16 hours on black friday. I haven't decided yet, but I think I might as well, there aren't many places left that are begging YOU to work.

That being said, I really love my job and the people there. When I say this I think people assume I'm kissing up, or trying to sound overly happy. This is a first for me as people are usually thinking something along the lines of "why does she look like her dog just died?" In other words, bubbly happiness is not my first option when it comes to a personality trait. However I'm ecstatic about having a job, and as such cannot contain myself.

Enough about that.

We're getting family pictures done today, and I'm so excited because I really think that there are less than ten pictures of Matt and I in existence and only 3 are worth looking at. Our wedding pictures were horrible, no good, very bad, and awful. Not to mention we both looked like fat kids who ate McDonald's 3 times a day (this was not the case however). Anyways I'm hoping to look somewhat fabulous since the wand waving picture genius Alana is taking them, and I have no doubt they will be amazing.

Well that's all for now.

Wait one more thing, I'm going to let you in on a secret of the universe, and a secret is something you tell one other person, so....

There are certain grocery items at Target that are cheaper than Walmart.
*gasp*
Its true, and I am absolutely not a Walmart hater, I love the place quite frankly. However I love seeing all your beautiful (blog stalking) faces even more.

Okay okay, I don't have any blog stalkers, but if I was interesting I did...so I humor myself with such thoughts and assumptions.
That is all.
Happy Halloween!

simply red

I know how much you all love to read my terribly interesting blog, but I've joined the workforce once again (praise Jesus) so I'm not sure how much time I'll have to devote to entertaining the masses.

That being said, come stalk me at work...the Fayetteville Target. Be jealous, I mean they have some of the cutest clothes and hats ever, for super cheap too. See, I've already got the selling thing down.

I've been commissioned to the video game department, alas I could not ask for a better placement.

I am of course thrilled, being jobless for five months will make you totally overzealous about working, as I'm sure my trainer for today figured out rather quickly.

Off to bed I scamper, sleep sounds all too welcoming :)

*drumroll please*

Well I usually don't blog about myself, at least not in a serious sense, or literal for that matter. However I was so overjoyed that I felt the need to say something to someone. So fellow blogger people, I'm proud to announce that I am not in fact pregnant, but rather, have lost 40lbs this year so far.

Don't say something like "Oh Rachel you had nothing to lose!" I'd rather hear"Wow you needed it, yay for you," because this is the truth. I hope there aren't any guys reading this because I'm already turning red at my computer screen knowing that some friends will be. Also don't tell me that I look amazing now because I don't. However ,minus 45 more pounds, I might allow you to say something of the sort.

Alas I decided to embark upon a shopping trip as a sort of reward for myself. Stupid sounding I know, but nice and very much needed. Marriage is turning me into somewhat of a different person in the sense that the style I once appreciated is not longer for me. Up until two years ago you would have probably never seen me in a Victoria's Secret, and always lurking in some dark corner of Hot Topic like a vampire wannabe...which I still am but have determined that looking like Rosalie Hale is far more achievable than say, Dita Von Teese? Please note: Twilight/Marilyn Manson's ex wife reference.

Today however I have made not one or two but three trips to Victoria's Secret. I bought some razorback sweats this past weekend but the rhinestones on them started falling off so I returned them for a gift card and was able to get an entire outfit. This is of course magnificent as both Matt and myself are quite fond of the way said pants make my lower (less glorious) half look.

So there you have it, my biannual "serious post."
